Subandrio Sinhawansa is an Indonesian-born DJ and producer, born in 1982, who grew up between Europe and Sri Lanka before establishing himself in the Middle East. He has been active as a DJ since 1996 and won the Pioneer DJ Middle East DJ of the Year award in 2013. His productions have appeared on Sudbeat, Replug, Lowbit and Clergy Recordings, and his music has received support from Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Sasha and Richie Hawtin. His sound draws on progressive house and melodic techno, shaped by wide-ranging cultural influences accumulated over years of touring and living internationally.
