Solis [US] is the alias of David Hammond, a Madison, Wisconsin-based producer who has been making electronic music for over two decades. A former guitarist with a background in jazz and bass, he came to prominence in the early 2020s with a run of releases that blend deep, melodic progressive house with a slightly melancholic and emotionally nuanced quality. His music has appeared on Univack, The Soundgarden, Clubsonica, Balkan Connection and Sound Avenue, and has received support from Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren.
