Rodriguez Jr. is the alias of Olivier Mateu, a French producer and live performer from the south of France. He was formerly one half of The Youngsters alongside Gilles Escoffier, before embarking on his solo career with support from Anja Schneider, releasing his debut album 'Bittersweet' on her Mobilee Records label in 2011. Since then he has remained closely associated with Mobilee, releasing several albums including his third, 'BLISSS', in 2024, while also putting out music on other respected imprints. His sound sits in melodic techno and progressive house territory, and he is equally regarded as a live act and DJ.
