Pole Folder is the alias of Brussels-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Pol Parys, who emerged in 2001 at the forefront of the European progressive house movement with releases on Bedrock Records, Global Underground and Renaissance. His early tracks 'Apollo Vibes' and 'Dust', both co-produced with Belgian DJ CP, became key releases on Bedrock, and his 2005 debut album 'Zero Gold' — commissioned by John Digweed — received widespread praise and led to several tracks being licensed to US television productions. Pole Folder later evolved his sound towards melodic techno and deep house, founding his own label Reworck in 2010, and has toured extensively as a live performer rather than a traditional DJ, incorporating synthesisers, guitar and other instruments into his sets.
