Nick Warren is a Bristol-born DJ and producer who began DJing in 1988 and became one of the most respected progressive house selectors of his era, performing regularly for Massive Attack and holding residencies at leading UK clubs. He is best known as one half of the duo Way Out West alongside Jody Wisternoff, whose 1990s singles 'The Gift' and 'Ajare' and debut album earned both critical and chart success. He has recorded eight albums for the Global Underground series and one for Renaissance, and heads up the A&R for Hope Recordings. He also founded The Soundgarden label and events brand, which remains an active platform for progressive and deep house. He played The Prog Lab at The Loco Klub, Bristol on 13th May 2023 for the 5th Anniversary alongside Nicolas Rada.
