Nick Muir is a British producer and classically trained pianist who spent ten years as a professional session keyboard player before moving into electronic music production in the early 1990s. He is best known as one half of the duo Bedrock alongside John Digweed, whose debut track 'For What You Dream Of' appeared on the Trainspotting soundtrack and launched the Bedrock Records imprint in 1999. The duo went on to score UK chart hits including 'Heaven Scent' and 'Voices', and composed the soundtrack for the MTV animated series Spider-Man: The New Animated Series in 2003. Muir has remained an in-demand writer and producer, and continues to release on Bedrock and collaborate with Digweed on new projects.
