Maze 28 is the alias of Mario Zefi, an Albanian producer who discovered underground electronic music through local radio at the age of 17 and launched the project in 2020 at 18. His sound is described as raw, groove-oriented, and energetic, and he has rapidly become one of the most prominent Albanian voices in progressive house. In 2024 he was ranked as the second best-selling Progressive House artist on Beatport globally, and his productions have featured collaborations with artists including Hernán Cattáneo, Silver Panda, Ruben Karapetyan, and Cid Inc. His releases appear on labels including EG Records and inU.
