Marc Romboy is a German producer and DJ who grew up near the Dutch and Belgian borders, attending early acid house and techno parties that shaped his musical direction. He founded the Le Petit Prince imprint in 1993, which was named Label of the Year by several German electronic music publications in 1994, before launching Systematic Recordings in 2004, a label that became one of the most respected platforms for melodic house and techno in Europe. His studio albums 'Gemini' and 'Contrast' on Systematic reflect his emotive, versatile approach, and he has collaborated with artists including Hernán Cattáneo and Stephan Bodzin. He has also released on Kompakt and appeared on Awesome Soundwave, the boutique label run by Carl Cox and Christopher Coe.
