Joris Voorn is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer who grew up in a musical family and began making electronic music in the late 1990s after a DJ competition sparked his interest in the scene. He won the Dutch Talent of the Year award in 2003 and has since built a reputation for a versatile, emotionally resonant sound that moves fluidly between house, techno, and deeper underground territory. He co-owns the Amsterdam labels Rejected and Green, and also runs the Spectrum imprint, which has released music from artists including Hælos and Mees Salomé. His Green label, launched in 2005, remains a platform for his own productions and the artists he has championed throughout his career.
