John Monkman is a US-born, London-based producer and DJ who founded the Beesemyer Music imprint. He came to wider attention in 2015 with his Anjunadeep remix of Solomon Grey's 'Twilight', which reached number one on Beatport, and with 'PHØENIX', a collaboration with Pete Tong released on Kompakt. His productions span house and melodic techno, with releases on Ellum, Last Night On Earth, Crosstown Rebels, and Kompakt, and he has performed at venues including Warung in Brazil and Ushuaia in Ibiza. Outside of dance music, Monkman has provided production and programming for Bryan Ferry and has worked with members of Radiohead and Pink Floyd.
