John Digweed is a Hastings-born DJ and producer who has been a defining figure in progressive house since the early 1990s. His 1994 collaboration with Sasha on 'Renaissance: The Mix Collection' was among the first commercial club compilations ever released, and the two went on to build a celebrated partnership through the Northern Exposure series and a long-running residency at New York's Twilo. He founded Bedrock Records in 1999 and, alongside producer Nick Muir as the duo Bedrock, scored a breakthrough when their track 'For What You Dream Of' appeared on the Trainspotting soundtrack. His long-running Transitions radio show continues to broadcast globally, and he was voted DJ Mag's number one DJ in 2001. He is booked to play The Prog Lab at The Loco Klub, Bristol on 2nd May 2026 for the 8th Anniversary.
