Hobin Rude is the alias of Ognjen Cerovic, a DJ and producer based in Belgrade who discovered progressive house in 2015, began DJing in 2017, and started producing in 2020. The output since then has been remarkable: over 250 tracks released across more than 100 labels, including SUDBEAT, The Soundgarden, Mango Alley, Balkan Connection, Movement Recordings, Hoomidaas, and Proton. In 2023 he was named best regional DJ of the year by Progresivna Suza. He hosts the Progressive Tales podcast, launched his own Rude Resonance Records imprint in late 2025, and has performed at ADE and Exit Festival. His music is regularly supported by Hernán Cattáneo, Guy J, Sasha, John Digweed, and Nick Warren.
