Guy J is an Israeli DJ and producer born in Tel Aviv who began making music at 14 and released his debut album, Esperanza, on John Digweed's Bedrock label in 2007 at the age of 21.
He founded the Lost and Found label in 2012 with John Digweed's support, using it as a platform for his own work and for producers including Roy Rosenfeld, Nick Muir and Jamie Stevens; the label ran to its 100th release before he chose to close it at what he described as its peak. Guy started his second label Early Morning in 2024 with the first release, the majestic Million Years From Now, one of the best progressive house tracks of the last decade.
His DJ sets are known for their immersive, journey-oriented quality, drawing on a wide palette that moves from deep melodic textures to more intense progressive and techno territory.
Guy J has played at The Prog Lab at The Loco Klub in Bristol on 4th March 2023 alongside Budakid, returned for a five-hour set on 8th June 2024, and headlined The Prog Lab's 7th Birthday at The Loco Klub on 3rd May 2025 alongside Redfreya. There is never a bad Guy J night, he is one of the very best of his generation in ours and many others opinions.
