Franky Wah is the alias of Luke Storrs, a Yorkshire-born producer and DJ raised on a family farm in Doncaster who came to dance music at 11 and began DJing and producing in his mid-twenties. His 2019 track 'Get Me High' topped Beatport's Top 100 chart and Pete Tong named him a Future Star for 2020, setting the stage for releases on Ministry of Sound and a full EP on the Afterlife label, making him one of a small number of British artists to appear on Tale of Us's imprint. He launched his own SHEN Recordings in 2022 and has collaborated with artists including Sasha and Jessie Ware. His sound ranges across melodic house and techno with elements of trance and breaks woven throughout.
