DAVI is the project of David Khanjian, an Armenian-American DJ, producer, radio host and label owner based in Los Angeles who trained at the Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan before relocating to the US in 2006. He became a resident DJ for Insomniac Events in Los Angeles and established a regular presence at Exchange LA, building a following through releases on Anjunadeep and Rebellion, including the EPs 'The Bay 6' and 'The Gates of Babylon'. His sound sits in melodic and progressive house territory with cinematic qualities, drawing early recognition from artists including John Digweed, Guy J and Nick Warren. He runs his own Two Suns In The Sky imprint, which he uses as a platform for carefully curated music with a narrative and atmospheric focus.
