Danny Tenaglia is a New York-based DJ and Grammy-nominated record producer born in Brooklyn on 7th March 1961, who began his career at Paradise Garage in the late 1970s before moving to Miami in 1985 to build his first club residencies. He returned to New York in the early 1990s and became one of the defining figures of the city's house scene through extended residencies at Twilo and Tunnel. His remix credits include Right Said Fred, Jamiroquai, Madonna and Depeche Mode, and his 2001 remix of Depeche Mode's 'I Feel Loved' earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. He released his debut artist album Hard and Soul on Tribal Records in 1995 and contributed to the Global Underground series with the Athens compilation in 1999.
