Budakid is the alias of Kevin Huizing, a Dutch DJ and producer from Grave in the Netherlands, who studied at Tilburg's Rock Academy and began releasing music under this name in 2010. His catalogue spans labels including Stil vor Talent, Lost & Found, Einmusika, Anjunadeep, Diynamic and Permanent Vacation, reflecting a sound that blends floating melodies with an energetic, groove-driven undertow. He played the Stokes Croft Beer Garden in Bristol for The Prog Lab's Summer Party on 31st August 2019, and returned to play The Loco Klub in Bristol on 4th March 2023, alongside Guy J.
