Anthony Pappa is an Australian DJ and producer born in Melbourne in 1973, who began his career at 13 and won Australia's DMC DJ championship at 15. He rose to international prominence after connecting with Sasha and John Digweed during their Australian tours, and appeared in DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs list every year between 1997 and 2003, featuring on the cover in 2000. He has released mix compilations on labels including Renaissance, Global Underground, and Platipus, and founded his Red Light District imprint in 2008. His partner act Freefall, formed with Alan Bremner, produced the trance track 'Skydive' featuring Jan Johnston in 1998, which became one of the defining records of that era. He played Death Disco in Bristol for The Prog Lab on 20th September 2025, delivering a four-hour set.
