Alex Niggemann is a German DJ and producer from Düsseldorf, born in 1984, who grew up as a classically trained pianist before discovering electronic music in his teens. After studying audio engineering in Berlin, he launched his career with a remix of Booka Shade's 'Darko' in 2006 and his debut release 'Assign Me' on Sportclub in 2008. He is the founder of the Aeon label, which celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2023, and has released albums including 'Paranoid Funk' on Poker Flat Recordings. His sound sits at the intersection of deep techno and progressive house, characterised by intricate layering and a strong sense of musical tension.
